Communist training?

So I have to get CPR/First Aid certification for work, and Anna, my boss, gave me a website to go to for dates and times. The site she gave me? www.thinkred.com ... Now, I odn't know for sure because it was under construction, but based on the names on the page and the name of the site, I think its communist. Was she trying to tell me something?????? Or maybe it is just Chineese.

The real site is www.thinkred.org

Glow

I miss fireflies.... normal everyday life is so much more interesting when there are living glowing things flying around.

Tonight, Brothers Grimm!

(a few days old, but a) Crazy story

If you haven't read it by now, you have to go read the story on Lyndo's blog (lydni is my sister in law). It's crazy!

So...Stuff

We just got back from Sonic, and they put more slush than cream in my strawberry cream slush--LAME!
As for the rest of stuff, I FINALLY figured out my schedule. I'm enrolled in FIVE graduate classes! But I'm not taking two of them this semester, I'm taking them next semester, and one isn't the one I'm enrolled in, it's a different one. Confusing? Yes, yes it is. I spent a large part of today and yesterday figuring out what Mary (head of the department) was wanting me to do actually. So the classes I'm actually going to be taking (as in attending--or onlineing) are Assessment of Young Children, Child Development, and Interaction techniques-young children. Babies, babies, babies!
Also, earlier today I worked out not having to take Interactions on Monday nights (which would make me not be able to go to hockey). Unfortunately, Assessment is on Tuesday from 5:30-8:20. That's wingaling time (trivia at buffalo wild wings, and soon trivia at Old Chicago when that opens). Hopefully the class will only go for an hour like my online class did this summer, so I can still go. We'll see.
I worked 16 hours on Wednesday and Thursday for my first week of my GTA assignment. We moved a lot of stuff around, and organized, and cleaned. I have to make up the other 4 hours next week, but on Monday I start the job for real. Four hours every day, 8:30-12:30, at Stone House (on campus) taking care of infant-toddlers. And of course, I'll have to start classes too, but not until Tuesday! And, I think that's all. It's nice having stuff figured out finally. (P.S. apparently wbloggar's spellcheck doesn't have the days of the week in the dictionary...)

A brand new post!

Since my last post, we've been to Texas and Colorado, along with having many adventures at home. Perhaps I will catch you up with pictures, but for now, here's a good video of Ava (at Texas), though she can say more than the one word in the video.
