Pan's Labyrinth
I just got done watching Pan's Laberynth. It was good...very good. But not in a normal movie way. Very different. I don't want to say much because I don't want to ruin it, but now I want to write a "different" fairytale. Something completely new. That has been an ambition of mine for a long time...but comming up with a completly unique idea is hard for me. I'll let you know if I come up with anything.
On a side not to my creative life, I miss having audio blogger to pst my dreams with.
The movie slightly reminded me of Mirrormask...that was a good movie, but I don't really remember much of it, so I can't draw a straight comparison (and actually it was NOTHING like it, it just reminded me of it at the very begining). One of my favorite things (which you see on the preview) is that she draws a door. I LOVE drawing doors in movies (What Dreams May come, the musical verion of Peter Pan.....anyone know of any others?).
